The following are Ted’s Cycles Online Store Terms and Conditions of sale to which all online purchases are subject. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Any changes will take effect when posted on this website. By using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (Ted’s Cycles) and you, (the customer), will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and dispatched by us. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Ted’s Cycles of your order. In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the options to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order. In these circumstances, upon cancellation, your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.
The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via Ted’s Cycles Online only. On occasions, the prices payable and promotions offered online may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in Ted’s Cycles retail shops. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion that differs from those online. Similarly, Ted’s Cycles retail shops are under no obligation to honour any online price or promotion. Where the In-store Price is listed, this refers to the current price in Ted’s Cycles shops. Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online.
All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last. All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include V.A.T. where appropriate. If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. In these circumstances, it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the correct price, however, should you choose not to do so. Your money will be refunded to your credit/debit card in full.
The repayment of such monies paid to us will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of pricing errors.
Representations of colour online are as accurate as our photographic and electronic processes will allow. Please note that colour online can also be affected by the calibrations of different output devices. All sizes are supplied as a guide only and are approximate.
We put a lot of time and effort into describing and photographing the products we sell using manufacturer's websites, catalogues, our own photography source and often our own descriptions of the products. Although we aim that every picture and description is accurate, mistakes do occur so let us know if you see or read something that isn't correct. If you have purchased something based on a picture or description on the website which turns out to be incorrect we will be happy to replace or refund the product (unused).
We take all reasonable measures to protect our customer’s personal information and do not pass your details on to any third party. Credit Card transactions are handled by the Secure Pay Secure Payment Gateway, which is an affiliate company of Australia Post. Secure Pay are fully accredited under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and we implement MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa along with full AVS/CV2 checks so you can be confident that your credit card transaction is in safe hands. All credit card details are secured using internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards. Although we endeavor to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the complete security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing personal information and dealing online over the Internet and Ted’s Cycles cannot be held responsible for any breach of security unless it is due to our negligence.
Our online store can accept orders from most countries across the world.(For full list see worldwide shipping). To order goods from our online store, you need to select your required items from the product information page(s) they appear on. To place an order online, go to the product information page and follow the steps outlined below. Product Information Page: Check the availability of the product in the price box at the top right of the product information page. For products that are labelled ‘In stock’, simply click the Add to basket button on the product information page. If a product is not available to buy online the Add to basket button will not appear. If the product is out of stock this will also be shown with estimation on delivery time to store. If you wish to continue allowing this delivery time, then click on add to basket.
Shopping Basket Page: After making your selections, click on the Continue to checkout or Checkout button. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the checkout pages.
Billing/Charging Page: We will then ask for details of your billing address - this must be the address at which your Credit/Debit card is registered and email/phone contact details so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order. Please complete your details in the appropriate boxes and click the Next button.
Delivery Page: Check your details and confirm they are correct by clicking the Continue to checkout button. If you details are incorrect in any way, click on the Edit address book button to amend your details.
Order Summary Page: Finally, we will ask you to check the details of the products you are ordering, along with your billing and delivery address. Then complete the details of the credit/debit card you wish to use to make your payment and don't forget to tick the boxes confirming you have read these Terms and Conditions and to allow you to be contacted by us via email if you wish to. Clicking Order now will generate and transmit your order and display a page confirming the details of your order for your records. Unfortunately, due to the speed of our order processing, you will not be able to amend your order after pressing the Confirm Order button, so please check all details are correct before placing your order.
Ted’s Cycles on line will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you, using the address you supplied when registering with our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.
All orders placed on Ted’s Cycles on line are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described. Also please refer to section “Price information” above regarding incorrect prices. No contract will exist until payment has been received and goods have been dispatched. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. Ted’s Cycles on line will retain details of your order in our database and these details can be made available on request. We accept payment by most major credit/debit cards and Pay Pal. We regret that we are unable to accept payment by cheque, cash, Gift Vouchers, High Street vouchers, Purchase Orders or any other form of payment other than Pay Pal, credit or debit cards.
All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Ted’s Cycles will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data, Credit Reference Services). A third party may also be instructed to complete these checks. By ordering from the Fudge Cycle Store on line website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to process and dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order. Any information given may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of the information. All information provided will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. These measures are taken as extra protection for you, to ensure your online shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.
We don't store any financial infomation about our customers.
The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.
We can deliver International across the world. For deliveries to non-mainland Australia addresses and certain remote locations there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead-time. Any extra delivery charge will be communicated to you by email and at that point you may cancel your order or pay the additional charge.
Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery/Special Delivery or by courier TNT, DPD, UPS, DHL. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and courier deliveries. If your order contains more than one product the individual products could be sent from different location and may arrive on different days. The delivery charges will not change and there will no addition delivery charge.
How much does delivery cost? All Charges are calculated in the shopping cart, if outside Australia please select the country in the drop down box. The delivery charges are listed on the right hand side of the item pages. Only one delivery charge will be charged. When you add products to your shopping basket the appropriate charge will be added automatically. All delivery charges will be shown clearly throughout the checkout process. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible.
Please note. Ted’s Cycles cannot deliver bicycles due to strict safety policies. Bicycles may be purchased through the website but must be picked up from the store.
Standard Australian delivery of stocked items is normally within 3-5 working days. Delivery times are calculated in working days i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days. Last day for orders at Christmas Time is normally 17 December. Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by courier. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and courier deliveries. Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm, however our couriers may attempt delivery outside these hours, up to 9pm Monday to Friday. All courier deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot. Deliveries to non-Mainland Australia or remote locations may and will take longer. Please note that if your order is of a combination of items, deliveries may, on occasion be made separately. Risk for the goods will pass to you on delivery. We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional circumstances. We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. Delivery times quoted above can vary depending on stock availability and delivery location.
Where applicable, details of manufacturers' guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. After sales service and warranty /guarantee claims will initially be dealt with by Ted’s Cycles.

Your access to the FudgesCycleStore.com website may occasionally be restricted to allow for the introduction of new products or features, site development, maintenance or repairs. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can. Normal maintenance work is carried out outside normal business time to minimize any problems.
Warranty covers faults that develop on the product in the first 12 months of use and or the product manufacturers particular specified warranty period. Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but not damage caused by wear and tear, crashing or abuse.
A customer may sometimes call after several months of using a product and informing us that a part of their bike/product has worked loose and/or may have caused damage to the bike or product. Stop riding your bike or using the product if you even suspect something might be wrong. Click here to email us.
Please note that all our bikes leave our premises fully built by experienced mechanics. Certain parts of the bike such as the bottom bracket, are assembled and correctly tightened by the manufacturer and also checked by us before they leave our premises. We check bicycles before they leave and make other adjustments however ALL bottom brackets and similar mechanical parts will work loose over a period of time. This means you must check them and tighten them as you go. This is especially true for new products and parts that normally go through a 'bedding in' period. However if you suspect a product is faulty - don't hesitate to contact us.
All products purchased from Ted’s Cycles are fully covered by manufacturers warranty. Some manufacturers offer extended warranty. With any bike purchase it is important that the customer understands that particular manufacturers’ warranty/terms and conditions.
Ted’s Cycles operate a fair play policy to protect you and us. We will warrantee immediately anything our suppliers deem a fault. Occasionally people try to warranty products unfairly (ie when a product had been abused) or change their mind about a product well into its usage. We do our best to resolve problems but don't consider this fair play. Ultimately we want happy customers - be fair with us and we will be fair to you.
Goods may be cancelled with no charge to the customer if monies have not been debited from the customers account. Once the order has been processed (goods ordered from the supplier) and monies have been debited from the customers account, the customer will be subject to the restocking fee unless the fault lies with Ted’s Cycles. Contact has been made from Ted’s Cycles to the customer to state the products are outside of the stated delivery time of 5 to 7 working days. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged caused when packing goods - please take care
If you decide that you do not want any item that we have delivered, we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund within 14 days of delivery, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase). We cannot accept responsibility for damaged caused when packing goods - please take care. Software can only be exchanged if faulty or if returned unused with the original seal and wrapping intact. Personalised products and made-to-order products cannot be returned unless faulty.
Our returns policy is simple if you aren't happy with your purchase please return it in an unused re-sellable condition (including any packaging and manufacturers labels) to us within 14 days of receipt and we will give you a full refund excluding any postage costs (where an item has been sent free shipping there will be a charge of £4.49 - £9.99 fee to cover costs of the original delivery).
Items returned outside of the 14 day period or without labels as above may be subject to a restocking fee. Any items that are returned to us for a refund and were shipped with free delivery will be subject to a £4.49-£ 9.99 charge, this is to cover any cost incurred by us. When returning any item to us for whatever reason it is your responsibility until the goods have been delivered to us. We cannot be held responsible for lost items sent back.
If you are returning an item due to an error by us, we will cover the cost to return the item (up to first class recorded level, and of course there will be no cost to send out the correct item. If there is a larger item that you need to return due to our mistake please contact us first as we might be able to get our couriers to collect the item.
1) To a Ted’s Cycles;
The easiest and quickest way to return your item or items is to take them to your local Ted’s Cycles retail shops for a replacement or refund along with your copy invoice as proof of purchase.
2) By post (if the item has been posted to you)
To return an item by post you must firstly contact Ted’s Cycles ) . Let us know which item(s) you wish to return, and the details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details. Please package your item(s) securely. All items returned by post (unless faulty) are returned at your cost. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. If you post your item(s) back to us, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days.
3) Collection by Ted’s Cycles (larger items delivered to you by courier)
Depending on the size and weight of the item you wish to return, it may be necessary for Ted’s Cycles to collect your goods from you and we may charge you for collecting the goods if they are not faulty. We will inform you if collection is necessary when you contact us about your return.
For faulty items, we will, upon receipt of the product, examine it or we may have to return it to the manufacturer for examination. We aim to dispatch a replacement product, arrange a repair or refund your money within 14 days, providing your Returns Number is included with the items returned.
Promotional items: When returning items that were purchased online as part of a ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ offer, 'Buy One, Get One Half Price' offer, '3 for 2' offer, or a 'Buy , Get a Free' offer, all of the items involved in the offer must be returned.
